The plan is to collect all the media we need to create "a spooky game-like experience".
I say game, but this won't be an all singing, all dancing game of any sorts, but it will have characters, and scenes and interactivity.
The objective is to just collect lots of "stuff" that we can piece together.
Later, we will explore tools like Livecode, or Twine, maybe p5js, and animation tools to bring all these media resources together.
Using the materials listed below I am going to use the excelllent map generators to create my home page. I will have between 5 or 10 other pages linked from the home page.
I will browse Project Gutenberg texts collection to find some stories that I might want to remix, or use as inspiration. I'm not going to use these stories word for word, but I may use some ideas from them.
I will use the Character Generator to help me create a character or two.
I will use the Reedsy prompts in association with TalkToTransformer to help me get started with a story. As someone who has never written a story this going to be a big ask.
I will use the pngimg site to get isolated images I can use for my characters.
Using the Mansion Generator I will create some destinations.
Using image sites I will collect pictures of interiors that I can maybe link together. Using Photopea I will make sure they are the right size (1024 x 768)
I will find background sounds and sound effects (in .wav format). I might need to use Audacity to trim them.
